Happy New Year from Chatman Photography!

I would like to take this time to thank all of my clients for a wonderful year!  Without you I would not be able to do what I love.  Thanks to all of my supporters, my family, friends and fans who have cheered me on, your kind words have lifted me and I don't take any of that for granted.  I'm really looking forward to what 2012 brings!

After Hannah and Joe were hitched at the Doller House Winery in Put in Bay, we decided to do a quick trash the dress session the following day on Joe's boat.

It was bright and early but we had a great time!  Here are a few images...

I really enjoyed the weekend I spent at Put-in-Bay with Hannah & Joe.  They had a lovely ceremony and reception at the Doller House Winery with their closest friends and family.  It was absolutely perfect.

(Even better, my hubby got to tag along with me for the weekend and help!)

You don't need photoshop to be beautiful -- all girls/women should see this

I was trying to think of what to post today, and instead of posting photos of another session I thought I'd post something a little different.    

I think at a young age, little girls can be left with the impression that you must be barbie-sized and picture perfect.  While I don't disagree that self-image and being healthy is important I'm referring to the model you see in the magazine that is absolutely flawless.  Having a teenage daughter myself I see how she and her friends are always comparing themselves to not only each other but to the celebrity on TV or model in the magazine.

Even though these videos have been shared before, I think it's so important to share again.  

Models are not perfect either.... 
To all of the little girls, teenagers, and women out there....embrace who you are!  You do not need to be photoshopped to be beautiful!  <3
