about your session

Thank you so much for choosing Chatman Photography!  By commissioning a custom photographer you are engaging in a unique experience.  Every last detail is tailored for each session and every client.  Please review all investment information carefully and be sure to feel comfortable with it prior to booking your session.

{Session Fee/Retainer}
A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date and allows me to refuse service to others on your behalf.  The session fee will serve as your retainer and is due within 5 days from booking your session.  Session fee includes photographer's time and talent to produce your portraits, from initial contact to delivery of finished product and does not include any prints or digital files.

{Payment Plans}
Yes, we accept payment plans.  Print packages and collections can be broken into payments however no products will be ordered until final payment is made.  Due to the nature of the products all sales are to be paid in full and are non-refundable.  Payments can be made by cash, check, or credit card via Paypal.

{Family/Children Sessions}
Family/Children portraits are generally photographed during spring/early summer & fall months at a location within 20 minutes from Canton of your choice.  Sessions are up to 2 hours and are very relaxed and informal.  Portrait sessions include up to 5 family members.  Each additional person is $25.

{High School Seniors}
Senior sessions are up to 2 hours with unlimited poses & 3-4 outfit changes.  The session is typically photographed outdoors or on-location of your choice within 20 miles from my studio.  There will be a small travel fee for longer distances.

{Image Previews}
We will setup a appointment at the time of your session for image previews and print/product ordering.  Client can expect 35-40 professionally edited images within 1-2 weeks from the session.  Private online galleries are available after initial image previews for family and friends.

I will also upload Facebook (web-sized) images of ordered prints from your session (www.facebook.com/chatmanphotography).  You are welcome to use the images on your page and profile, but please do not change or alter the image in any way.  The images posted on Facebook have been resized and are not formatted for printing.

{Availibility}
I only accept a select number of sessions each month and they can book up fast depending on the time of year.  Sessions are by appointment only, please make sure you contact me as soon as possible to reserve your date.

{Cancellations}
Cancellations must be made within 48 hours from date of session and must be rescheduled within 7 days for session fee to transfer to new date.  You may reschedule one time before session fee is no longer applicable.  (This does not apply to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, illness, etc.)
